Adam I posted a few Curtis Mann images above. Check out his website too, www.curtismann.com. He is the artist that collects images from flicker of war torn areas and then erases, with bleach, certain areas of the image. I believe that the images he works with are taken by people who live in these areas day to day.
The other person that might be interesting is Alex Webb. He did this interesting book all about the Mexican/American Border called "Crossings" He photographed the border over a number of years. It might be interesting considering our conversation about borders today in class. There is a link to the "Crossings" section of his website below:
