My practice is grounded in my study of Anthropology in which I hold bachelors degree. I photograph as a way of studying human habits, tendencies and phenomenon. Photography becomes a medium with which to study. Imbedded in all my work is a curiosity about the intricacies of society and the act of living. My work takes on social perspectives exploring ideas of class, age, family, and the current social climate. I photograph as a means appease my own curiosities about these topics, and to gain a deeper understanding of the nature of culture.
laz:
i think you could shore up habits, tendencies, and phenomenon to stronger concepts. maybe combine 1st and 3rd sentences? imbedded....the end of this sentence is too vague. drop appease and frame everything like you do in the last sentence 2nd half...
